The world's largest beer festival which has been held annually since 1810 prepares to take a pause from this year's story. For the first time millions of festival visitors as well as vendors and service personnel will all experience an Oktoberfest 'leap-year'. Here's a look back at some of the colorful scenes of Oktoberfest 2019 and a reminder of what's to be missed this year.
This post instantly brought back memories of my trip to Munich a few years back for Oktoberfest. It was absolutely wild, in the best possible way! I remember feeling so overwhelmed by the sheer scale of it all – the massive tents, the oompah bands playing at full volume, and of course, the sheer volume of beer being poured.
