Still after millenium Rome remains a true feast for the visual and olfactory senses. An auditory feast as well, if the sound of the occasional violin, liquid Italian voices all mixed with the piercing horns of the Fiat and a thousand buzzing Piaggios is your thing.
When night falls in Rome, the unfamiliar yet ancient allure of dimly lit streets compete with the divine comfort of the full moon.
I stand guilty of engaging in a bit of voyeurism. It was so easy. Strolling about with my long lens and my long dark coat under the cover of darkness. To be fair, there was little I could do to help myself. It all seemed so picture perfect.
